Navigating Planner5Dā€™s Interactive Floor Plan

The following instructions will teach you how to navigate the Planner5D software for all platforms.

Touring on a computer

Once the project has loaded, you'll be able to explore it in Planner5D's viewer. You can navigate around the project by clicking and dragging with your mouse or using the on-screen controls. Take some time to explore the design and view it from different angles.

To navigate between different floors in a project within Planner 5D, follow these steps:

Enter 3D Mode: First, make sure you are in 3D mode within Planner 5D. This mode allows you to explore your project in a three-dimensional space, including different floors.

Locate Floor Selector: Look for the floor selector tool within the Planner 5D interface. This tool is typically located in the toolbar or menu options and may be represented by icons like "Up" and "Down" arrows, or labeled as "Floor Selector" or "Levels."

Select Desired Floor: Use the floor selector tool to choose the floor you want to navigate to. Depending on your project, you may have multiple floors to choose from. Click on the appropriate floor level to switch to that floor.

Adjust Camera View (Optional): As you navigate between floors, you may need to adjust your camera view to see the desired area of the floor. Use the mouse to pan, zoom, and rotate the camera as needed to explore the floor from different angles.

Explore the Floor: Once you've selected the desired floor and adjusted your camera view, take some time to explore the floor within Planner 5D. You can navigate around the floor, inspecting different rooms, areas, and design elements.

Navigate Between Floors (Optional): If your project has more than two floors or if you need to switch between multiple floors frequently, continue using the floor selector tool to navigate between floors as needed.

Return to Previous Floor: To return to a previous floor, simply use the floor selector tool to choose the desired floor level again. Planner 5D will switch back to that floor, allowing you to continue exploring or making adjustments.
